For this recipe I used the same oils, lye and water as in my Peppermint Mocha Cold Process Soap Recipe found here:
http://thestylessay-gardening.blogspot.com/2013/11/cold-process-soap-batch-6-peppermint.html
11.88 oz distilled water
5.013 oz lye
15.75 oz pomace olive oil
11.25 oz palm oil
9 oz coconut oil (76 degree)
In one cup I pre-mixed 1/2 tsp of green oxide powder with 1/2 TBSP sunflower oil. In another cup I mixed 1/2 tsp of yellow oxide powder with 1/2 TBSP sunflower oil. I also mixed 1/2 tsp of titanium dioxide with 2 tsp of water in a third cup.
Follow directions for Peppermint Mocha soap for oil, water and lye directions then add .70 oz of spearmint EO and .30 oz eucalyptus EO for the scent at light trace.
I then divided the soap into three parts - appx 1/2 will be mixed with the titanium dioxide mixture, 1/4 of soap mixed with green pigment and 1/4 mixed with yellow pigment. I put the yellow and green in separate squeeze bottles and followed the directions from here to create the linear swirling technique:
